  • Law Firm of Basnight, Creekmore, now Basnight, Kinser, Telfeyan, Leftwich & Nuckolls, P.C., partner, from 1977 to present time.
  • Concentration of legal practice on issues dealing with land use, both residential and commercial properties, including, but not limited to, project feasibility, cost studies, site design and layout, financing, environmental issues and regulatory issues and zoning matters. Has been involved in the development of over 5,000 residential lots within Tidewater, Virginia, Chesterfield and Henrico County, Virginia and Currituck County, North Carolina. Most recent developments include, but are not limited to, the following subdivisions: Victoria Park, English Avalon, Prince George Estates and Woodbridge, all in the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Etheridge Lakes, Carriage House Commons, Etheridge Pines, Dail's Landing, Cedarwood, Sherwood Forest, Eagle Lakes at Cahoon Plantation, Caroon Farms, Blackwater Forest, Cedar Pines, Cedarwood South, Hunter's Ridge, Ravenna, Olde Towne Terrace, Albemarle River, Vance Level, English Oaks, Deep Creek Forest, Crystal Lake South, Spencerville, Winston Trace, Cullen Estates, Dominion Forest, and Merrimac Landing, all in the City of Chesapeake, Virginia; Reid's Crossing, Nansemond River Crossing, Hargrove Tavern, and Nansemond Commons, all in the City of Suffolk; and Currituck Golf and Country in Currituck County, North Carolina.
